update, (parft II to follow, maybe).

Technical problems have prevented me from posting sooner. That fact made it hard for me to stay organized. One goal or motive in posting all these blogs was just simply to present what Christianity is. That sounds easy until you realize that what passes for Christianity really isn't Christian. In other words highly respected main-stream ministries that have a large following and audience will often have aspects or practices in their ministry that is not Biblical and even heretical.
For example: Chuck Swindoll thinks very highly of Eugene Peterson's "The Message", a book that passes itself off as a Bible translation. Trust me folks, it is no translation of the Bible! Would you like proof? Take "The Message" along with a New King James translation and open them both to a familiar passage like ICorinthians 13, and compare them side-by-side. You will see major differences!
I must go now and get my kids up! I will be back as soon as possible!
