According to Jerome Corsi, we as a nation are broke. Hard to believe isn't it? I'm not sure I believe it, or perhaps maybe I don't want to believe it? Well here is the link: www.redalert.wnd.com/index.php
Many times I plan to do a post, but something else always presses on my mind. It can also be found at:

It would seem unbelievable could be or is broke, but here is a thing or two from history: When a nation goes bankrupt it goes down slowly. The reason for that is that such nations that usually go bankrupt are generally inefficient with an over sized bureaucracy. According to past history before a nation falls it is overspent, has an over active millitary, with a great or growing chasm between rich and poor. Before a nation sinks, it's moral quality is less than Biblical. Perhaps before I go on I should refer to Gibbons classic work "The Decline and Fall of The Roman Empire". His work will state similiar features that I have listed that proceeds the fall of a nation. Depressing isn't it? Pray that I am wrong, but there are signs that say I'm not. Like the Fed monetizing the debt. In other words printing paper money to appease a real debt. Usually the such an action only works for a llittle while and then things get worse. Well if this bankruptcy is true then it will take a couple of years to feel it's effect. Am I an expert? No! My advice is get out of debt and get as many tangible assests as possible. Better safe than sorry.

skeptics and relationships
I have a co-worker who is very intelligent and also very skeptic when it comes to organized religion. I have also have a Sister-In-Law who is very intelligent and does not care for organized religion. At first I didn't like it, but upon closer examination both of these people have valid points. You see, if you say Christianity, there first thoughts will be of a meeting place of unrepentent hypocrites. Church to them is place to look good, not a place to be learn how to be acceptable towards God. Christian history to them means exploitation. When they look at those beautifll cathedrals they think of all that back breaking sweat and and exploitation. Churches maybe about that I just listed, but Christianity isn't about that at all. It is about a personal, supernatural relationship with the living God of the Universe through His real and Ressurected Son Jesus Christ. When you have that supernatural relationship with Jesus, prayer ceases to be a dead ritual and it becomes a wonderfull to look for to communicating with the God of the Universe! When you have that relationship with God, you do good not to earn points or out of some compulsion. No! You do good because you want to as an act of love! And the love that you can't do is assisted by the Holy Spirit so that acts of love can be done and completed. I can say so much more and perhaps I will later. However I will close by reminding you dear reader of a few ponts: Christianity is not an organization, nor a political force; nor is it ever a means getting favor from God or man. It is a real, dynamic relationship with the living God of the universe. God is just, rightous, fair; but He is also loving, gracious, and forgiving if you are truely repentent. So maybe before we invite people to church, let's talk about how wonderfull God really is and what He is really like. After all, this bloggers goal is to paint an accurate picture Christianity and all that is realated to it. Many people have distorted ideas about church and Christianity, and it is time that things got cleared up.
Racisms part II
When one decides to adopt children of a race that is different than yours, (trans-racial adoption), one can encounter unforeseen problems that can hit you quickly and leave you stunned or poorly equipped to handle it. Both of my kids are adopted and black, (and good looking!). My son is mixed race, black and white. My daughter is black. One day while eating Pizza at Costco a black lady approaches my daughter with a very angry look on her face. This lady makes a strong effort never to look me in the face by the way. She then ask my daughter in a stern voice, "honey where is your Dad!" My daughter was taken back with surprise and so was I. We both stared at her in silence wondering 'what is going on?' She asked the same question again, and this time I talk. I inform her in a strong voice the she is my adopted daughter. Without looking at me, she ask my daughter, "Is this true?" . She replies by shaking her head 'yes'. She then quickly leaves in a huff without a word or an apology. This lady had assumed the I had kidnapped her and had mentioned she wanted to make sure my daughter was not kidnapped. (Some blacks cannot will not believe that there are kind white people who actually want to love black people.). Another time, Alisa and I were in the front yard when a black lady wearing a bus-driving uniform approached my daughter again. It seems she went to the trouble of interupting her route routine to attempt her self-perceived good deed. Again my daughter was approached rather than me. Again my daughter asked if I was her father. This time my daughter was more affirmative and said I was her Dad. This lady acted better than the last lady mentioned. She then turned to me and said, "I had to make sure it was OK." I give credit to the bus-driving lady for being more open minded than the previous example, but dare I say that it was prejudice that motivated her to stop? In both example that I just cited my daughter and I were doing pleasant activities that could never be conceived as abusive or mean. In the first case it involved pizza. In the second case it involved simple talk. There wasn't slightest hint of stress on my daughter at all; and yet two people would not stop, think, and examine the situation before proceeding. The lesson in this is that racism is not property of white people. The whole human race has been guilty of either racism or bigotry. I would recommend that you check out a good movie about racism. It is called "Hotel Rwanda", and it has Don Cheadle as the main actor. Besides being a good movie, it gave a clear and ugly portrait of black-on-black racism and genocide.
